AWWA Calibration Workshop

Join me June 12th at the AWWA Annual Conference and Exposition in San Antonio, Texas. I’ll be giving three presentations on water distribution model calibration as part of the all-day pre-conference workshop titled Calibrating Water Distribution System Models. But, don’t worry, there will also be some good speakers as well.

In addition to the basics of calibration, the workshop will include presentations and discussions on:

  • Data collection
  • Real time modeling
  • Water quality modeling
  • Energy modeling
  • Bibliography of model calibration
  • Two case studies
  • An interactive session
  • A panel discussion

The upcoming workshop grew out of an AWWA Calibration Committee book coming out later this year titled “Handbook of Water Distribution Model Calibration.” The speakers are some of the chapter authors from that book.

It should be worth a trip to San Antonio to attend the workshop.

If all goes well, this will be my first plane ride since COVID.

Hope to see some of you there.
